We had our older rugs cleaned and repaired and purchased several new rugs as well. They spent a lot of time with us as we selected just the right rugs and we were so pleased to learn about the different rugs as we looked at them. Our older rugs returned clean and vibrant and are a nice complement to our new rugs. They picked up the old rugs, cleaned them and delivered them with the new rugs, carefully placing each one of them in our home. Fantastic company; the owners, husband and wife, bend over backwards to help you understand what type of rug you have, what cleaning method is best, and they take their time explaining what they see in your rug and how to fix or clean it. My first experience with an oriental rug was when I bought one at a yard sale. At the time I didn’t know anything about them but knew this one was a good one because of its pile and design. I asked Paoli Rugs to have a look at it, and they knew exactly what it was…Chinese wool…and they cleaned it beautifully. After that I acquired 2 more, one was 10 x 12 and one 8 x 10. The fringe on the large one had been eaten by the prior owner’s dog, and the owner explained to me what type of fringe would be best to replace the old, and why, and took all the time I needed to understand my choices.
Paoli Rug’s work in restoration (my dog-eaten fringe, for example) is top notch. You can see some of their work on this website. Sometimes we think of a company like Paoli Rug either selling or cleaning orientals, and that’s all. But they are SO much more. Don’t be fooled by companies that advertise they are better than Paoli Rug. I had one of my orientals come back from cleaning by a different company and when I saw the rug, the green colors were bleached out to a yellow. I was shocked, and that’s when I found and called Paoli Rug. I have not met anyone as knowledgeable as the owners of Paoli. They are polite, sincere, always on time and above all, want to give you what you need and never try to sell you anything you don’t want or need. Perhaps more than their top-notch, excellent cleaning, what I’ve learned about the carpets I now have…where they were made, what is the material, how it should be repaired, etc…..the information and knowledge they have about your rugs is amazing. I will never use any other rug company. Paoli Rug Co. is definitely the best you can find.

10 months ago I had the Paoli Rug Company come to give me an estimate to clean and re-fringe several runners and small oriental rugs in addition to repair a tear. I needed them all finished in time for our daughter’s wedding which was within a month. There was a $75.00 charge to come to my area, but I am so happy I used them instead of the local oriental rug dealers I have used in the past. The owner himself came along with a helper to our home. He was extremely polite, did not try to sell anything, very honest, and did not promise anything he couldn’t deliver. He said he would try his best to have them finished in time for the wedding, but could not promise. I gave him the job knowing I might not have the rugs by the wedding.
To my surprise, he returned the rugs the week of the wedding. I was absolutely shocked to see how the rugs looked and most of all how they felt. They were extremely clean and so soft. The other oriental rugs places I used were well-known, but our rugs came back stiff and never looked like they do now. He explained that they hand wash the rugs, rinse them many times to get the soap out and dry them naturally. I looked for the tear in the runner and I could not find it. With the cleaning and the new fringe the rugs looked brand new. I also bought new runners for under the carpets. He and his assistant laid the rugs. I was so pleased with their workmanship that I would highly recommend them even if there is a service fee to give you an estimate. .

I contacted Paoli Rug in a last ditch effort to save some very expensive rugs that had been severely damaged by my old dog and cats. They smelled of urine, and I thought I’d be better off throwing them away, rather than cleaning them. I’m so glad I opted to have them cleaned by Paoli Rug. I bought a second hand rug that had been scrubbed almost down to the base fibers in spots where the prior owner’s cat had decided the rug was his litter box. Anyway, I called Paoli Rug Company and they came out to evaluate the rug. Apparently, it’s a very good quality Persian rug and worth a small investment to clean it up. When the rug was brought back yesterday you would think it’s brand new! It looks absolutely beautiful. All of the worn spots have been fixed, the cat and dog odor is gone and the colors are vivid and bright! I would highly recommend this company for any rug services you need. They were very friendly and easy to work with. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Our rug had been exposed to mold spoors and also needed cleaning. It was picked up at my home and taken right off the floor. All the furniture was moved by you, which was a real blessing. It was returned and was beautiful . The colors were bright once again. They had not run(which had been a problem with one of our other oriental rugs that we had cleaned nearby ). Just wanted to let anyone that needs their rugs cleaned…this is the place to go. My dog had gotten sick on my silk rug. I believed it was ruined. After a not so good experience elsewhere, I came to Paoli Rug Co. They said they would try, but could not make any promises. I am telling you, this rug looks wonderful. It is better beyond my expectations, like new. The work is done on the premises by Nader Atigheh, the owner. He will walk you through the process, knowing that you are putting your investment in his hands. I would not ever go to anyone else to have my wools or silk rugs cleaned.
